Chef Liz Philpot, owner of Eat Seattle Tours, sat for an in-depth interview to discuss her evolution from a nationally ranked U.S. Figure Skating Ice Dancer to leading award-winning chef-guided food tours at Pike Place Market. 

She revealed, "When I graduated culinary school in 1999 in Paris, France, the woman's place in the commercial kitchen wasn't maybe what we would think are favorable conditions today. I thought, if I go work in a commercial kitchen in France as a woman, this is going to be a direction I don't want to go. So I decided to put a pause on that and go to business school."
