See Lee Garden

Release: 07.17.25

Forget the factory-cut roses and plastic sleeves. Every bouquet begins on the farm at See Lee Garden — harvested at dusk in Carnation or Woodinville, trucked overnight, and hand-delivered to the cobblestone by morning.

Cabbage Patch Kid Scott Chang (See Lee Garden Flower Farm) grew up behind the flower stalls, literally. As a child tucked into a produce box while his parents sold bok choy and Chinese spinach, he witnessed the shifting tides of farming firsthand. Over time, as water rights were lost and the elders aged out, his family pivoted to floriculture, where each bloom is hand-grown, hand-cut, and delivered within hours.

Madinah In The Market originally aired as a radio-first editorial series, produced as recorded field pieces inside Pike Place Market. These archived episodes reflect the program’s foundational approach, created before its transition to a multi-platform show.
